 Springtime is rebirth for Mother Nature and for most of us. We step out of the dark, cold days of winter seeking to change and to grow!
We at Clear & SIMPLE™ are no different - our business is changing and growing - a new look, new design, new focus and new people. All of it can seem overwhelming and chaotic at times. But with the power of a system or systems, we can achieve our goals and much, much more.

When we look at any project, we can see the many steps and actions that need to be taken. We often become immobilized by the sheer magnitude of it. But by simply looking at it, whether it be paper, closets, or the yard, you are beginning!
For the purpose of illustration the project we have chosen is a garden. A garden can be a simple pot, a flower bed or a vegetable garden. We need to see the spot we will use and what we want it to become. |

Now write it out - all that came to you - the vision, the list that is circling in your mind, the desires, the end result.
This step is so important and so often the one we overlook. We see the garden and go immediately into planting. How many of us have ever drawn, written, even listed what we want in our garden; yet every great garden starts with a plan. We go to the nursery, picking out what looks pretty without the proper planning.

 It is at the do it step that we often skip several steps to get to the end result - but when using a system it is important to utilize every step of the system or you might not get the result you are seeking.
Sort, Toss, Assign, Contain, Keep It Up and Simplify.
Using our garden example:
Sort out the different areas of the garden. You have already looked at the existing garden by writting out your vision for the new one. Now look at the different areas you can sort by:
- Pots
- Shade
- Sun
- Color
- Perennial
- Annual
Toss: look at what you want to get rid of:
- the plant that was too big
- the plant that was too small
- need more green, less color

Assign a home - the area it is to be planted.
Contain - be it a pot or the ground.
Keep it Up - watering, fertilizing, etc.
Simplify - planning from the beginning.
