Its Fall again! What a beautiful time of year, full of shorter days, cooler nights, fresh vegetables, and football! What do you like most about the season? For us its all about Letting go and starting anew - new school year - new friends, new notebooks and backpacks - new clothes and shoes, and of course new schedules and routines. We want to share with you some ideas for the season.

It seems with Fall everyone shifts into a higher gear. Gone are the lazy, hazy days of summer, replaced with the fast pace of school, homework, sports, dance and music lessons. Single or married, with children or without there is vibrancy in the air that seems to move through each of us. So much to do and so much to see!
For all of us the days seemed to be filled with too much to do and little time to connect with each other. Taking the time to plan can actually give you back some of the time that you might feel you have lost.

| Tips for Fall |

Establish a family communication center and include the following to keep you all organized.
- A bulletin board to display cards and messages
- A calendar with all family and individual activities
- A phone message center (use carbon copy phone pads so you always have a copy)
- Your paper flow system
- Files for all family members, so any papers that need to be signed can be found
Establish a weekly family meeting
- Review everyones schedule for the upcoming week
- Update calendars and lists
- Review other family matters such as financial or goals
Economize and eat healthier by planning meals to eat at home
- During your family council have everyone list their favorite foods
- Organize your pantry and take stock and shop for those things that you need
- Create a list of the staples and put it next to your pantry
- When someone uses the last one they mark it off and you have your shopping list

"Simply Trust, do not the petals flutter down just like that?" Issa
Fall is my favorite time of year; the noticing of nature my greatest teacher. Fall is famous for letting go. The letting go of bright, summer colors as nature transforms her wardrobe into deep, rich tones. The freedom from the stifling, hot air and breathing in the refreshing coolness of evenings. The busyness of summer life softening, sitting on the porch or the grass having meaningful conversations.
As I soak up the energy of release around me, I feel the desire to offer support for our human life dance and struggle with "just letting go." In my audio book (Get Organized, the clear & SIMPLE Way) I dedicate an entire CD to the A.R.T. of Letting Go© because it can be a challenge in these times of holding on to so much. I wish to share the message here - A.R.T. stands for Acceptance, Release and Trust.
I know that this last year has thrown strong messages at me to let go of past time people and patterns. I encourage you in this moment to choose one item or area that you know you want or need to let go of now. Take 5 minutes for each of the following steps: ACCEPTANCE
- If I accept what is in front of me, how will I be set free?
- By accepting my situation, what can I let go of that is dragging me down or holding me back?
- What would acceptance look like / feel like / sound like?
RELEASE
- Start with permission to let go. "I release this - and give it back to the Universe to care for."
- Find a way to physically release even if it is a deep, long exhale.
- If it is too much, then release a small part.
TRUST
- For now, trust that everything you have given to this chosen item is now complete. And that you have received everything you needed.
- Then breathe in trust that your will have exactly what you need for your next step or creation or relationship.
- Every choice we make comes down to "fear" or "trust." Just let go.
Watching the trees release their leaves, trusting that the cycle will happen again, I am reminded of a quote on a card that I have kept within my view for many years.
"Simply Trust, do not the petals flutter down just like that?" Issa
